UpMyFolio is strictly an informational and educational tool. We are NOT a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial institution with SEBI, the SEC, or any other regulatory body.

No content generated by our Service, including but not limited to AI insights, Devil's Advocate analysis, Forensic AI Audits, or stock screening results, constitutes an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. You acknowledge that stock market investing involves significant risk of capital loss. You alone assume the sole responsibility of evaluating the merits and risks associated with the use of any information provided by the Service before making any investment decisions.

2Accuracy of Data and AI Hallucinations

Our Service aggregates financial data from third-party APIs (including Yahoo Finance and the NSE) and utilizes Generative Artificial Intelligence (LLMs) to summarize and analyze this data.

• Third-Party Data: We do not verify, and make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the raw financial data.
• AI Hallucinations: Artificial Intelligence models can and do make mistakes, hallucinate facts, or misinterpret financial contexts. The AI-generated analysis MUST be independently verified by you by reading the official company filings.

3Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall UpMyFolio, its affiliates, directors, or employees be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. We are completely indemnified from any trading losses you incur.

4Acceptable Use & Anti-Abuse

You agree not to misuse the Service. Specifically, you will not:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from our databases or API endpoints using automated bots, crawlers, or unauthorized scripts.
• Attempt to bypass our rate-limiting API gateways or artificially inflate your AI query credits.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or train machine learning models.

We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend accounts that violate these limits without refund.

5Subscriptions, Credits, and Refunds

Certain features of the Service (like the AI Auditor and Advanced AI Screener) require a Premium subscription or AI Credits.

• Credits: AI credits represent server processing capacity and are deducted when you execute AI-heavy operations. They have no real-world cash value.
• Refunds: Due to the immediate costs incurred by LLM API usage, all payments for subscriptions and credits are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.

6Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
